Welcome to the ArrowCorps5 Shasta-Trinity National Forest Project (ASTP) Website.

Shasta-Trinity National Forest has a diverse landscape ranging from 1,000 to 14,162 feet and over 2.1 million acres of forest encompassing five wilderness areas, hundreds of mountain lakes and 6,278 miles of streams and rivers.

The ASTP will provide much needed assistance to this beautiful National Forest with trail maintenance and clean-up that otherwise would not be done.  Here's a brief description of the project with more detailed information throughout this website:

Project Dates:

July 12 to 19, 2008

Project Area:

Pacific Crest Trail (north of Redding, CA) and Sisson Callahan National Historic Trail (near Mt. Shasta City)

Project Overview:

153 miles of significant trail maintenance and reconstruction; dumpsite clean-up of nearly 150 square miles

Recreation:

Climbing, caving, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, paddle or pontoon boating, golfing, and swimming.
