Transportation

The responsibility of transporting participants to project sites safely rests with the Lodge contingent coordinators.  Lodges councils may want to arrange transportation together, such as carpooling or renting a bus. We will help facilitate this coordination by providing information here on who has registered for ASTP.

Transportation from one major airport to project sites will be made available for a small fee.  See "Preferred Airport" section below.

Preferred Airport
The preferred airport for the Shasta-Trinity ArrowCorps5 site will be Sacramento International. There will be no airport shuttle service for any other airports.

The shuttle fee from Sacramento International Airport is $40.  If the shuttle transportation is requested, the participating Arrowmen should make note on the Individual Registration Form C – Due to the National Office by May 1, 2008 and include the shuttle fee with the final payment. 
Staff members needing transportation to their site should contact the Site Incident Commander.

Please book your flights according to the arrival/departure times noted below. Airport shuttle service cannot be guaranteed outside of that time. The airport and arrival/departure times are:

  • Sacramento International (SMF) - 167 mi.
    Arrival: Before 2:00 PM on July 12, 2008
    Departure: After 12:00 PM (noon) on July 19, 2008
